Recently, Dialogue Consulting ran its first ever webinar on strategy development. The event proved a great success, with over 45 people joining us from across Australia to learn about the basics of crafting an effective and engaging presence in the social media space.
The webinar focused on the basic building blocks of strategy development, and prompted the attendees to ask questions of themselves and their organisation as to the direction they want their presence to move in.
Whilst voice should be appropriate to your organisation, ensure that it has personality and humanity.
Have broad goals which define success, and a number of objectives that relate to each goal.
When crafting these objectives, ensure they are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time orientated. (S.M.A.R.T)
Key messages should form the foundation for all of your content. Content packages your messages.
Messages should be subtextual. Seek to imply, rather than tell.
Constantly evaluate your success and don’t be afraid to try something new!
A few people told us in the evaluation they’d like more case studies: we’ll be sure to incorporate some more next time! In the meantime, you can have a browse through our blog that has a range of case studies that we’ve discussed, both good and bad.
Dialogue Consulting is looking at putting together a series of webinars over the coming months in which we will explore social media best practice by looking at case studies, both recent and past.
